This morning we waited until the tide had gone out before making our way over to Holy Island (Lindisfarne). We learnt all about the medieval patron saint of Northumbria: St. Cuthbert. We explored the priory, church and museum on Lindisfarne to research more about this significant saint.

Wow! Y6 you look like you have had another fantastic day. Holy Island is such a special place and searching for St Cuthbert’s beads is one of my favourite memories. School is definitely quite without you and I can’t wait to hear all about your amazing adventures when you get back. Make the most of every opportunity- as you are making such special memories.
